STEP 10 - HORMONES

Fluctuating hormonal levels around the time of menstruation or ovulation can bring on a severe, throbbing sensation in the head. Women can also experience this type of head tension in the years leading up to and during menopause.

Essential Oils that support and balance hormones are a good choice to help with hormonal head tension:

  • Clary Sage

  • Lavender

  • Geranium

  • Basil

  • Lemongrass

  • Monthly Blend for Women

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

TOPICALLY: Apply topically to the back of the neck, on temples, and bottoms of feet. Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity. Apply this blend around the inside and outside of the ankle bones to help support ovarian and uterine health. May also be worn as a floral perfume through the day.

CAUTIONS

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.

LIFT AND LIGHTEN THE MOOD DIFFUSER RECIPE

  • 2 drops Clary Sage

  • 3 drops Petitgrain

  • 1 drop Cedarwood

Add to diffuser for a calming and balancing effect which may help to lift head tension.

SUPPLE SMOOTH SKIN BATH RECIPE

  • 3 drops Clary Sage

  • 2 drops Geranium

  • 2 drops Lavender

Add Essential Oils to a cup of magnesium bath salts, stir to mix, and add to a bath of warm to hot water. Relax for at least 20 minutes. Enjoy a good night’s rest after your bath!
