STEP 16 - GENERAL ILLNESS

When the body is run down or battling environmental threats, the immune system can be weaker than usual and not as protective to the body. When we have an illness, we can experience weakness and head tension, often a persistent, dull, aching sensation.

If you take extra measures to get well again (e.g., proper rest, adequate fluid intake, and healthy food options), the immune system can recover and get back to the job it does best: keeping us healthy and protected from illness.

Using Essential Oils regularly as an added healthcare tool can be very beneficial to our immune system, to help keep it strong and functioning properly. All Essential Oils have some antiseptic property to them, but some have particularly good immune-protecting benefits:

  • Lavender

  • Lemon

  •  Peppermint

  • Melissa

  • Black Pepper

  • Melaleuca

  • Clove

  • Cinnamon

  • Rosemary

  • Eucalyptus

  • Wild Orange

  • Protective Blend

The PROTECTIVE BLEND is a proprietary blend that allows natural and effective ways to support healthy immune function. It can have positive effects on the immune system, especially when seasonal and environmental threats are high.

Containing Wild Orange Peel, Clove Bud, Cinnamon Leaf, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Leaf, and Rosemary Leaf/Flower Essential Oils, PROTECTIVE BLEND has an energizing and uplifting aroma that can help purify the air when diffused.

PROTECTIVE BLEND can be taken internally daily to maintain healthy immune function and support healthy cardiovascular function. It can also be used on surfaces throughout the home as a non-toxic cleaner.

PRACTICAL USES

• Add two to three drops in a veggie capsule for an immune boost.*

• Add to water for an effective, all-purpose surface cleaner.

• Soak sliced apples in water and a few drops of PROTECTIVE BLEND for a healthy, immune-boosting snack.*

• Combine a few drops of PROTECTIVE BLEND with Fractionated Coconut Oil for a natural hand cleanser.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

DIFFUSION: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

INTERNAL USE: Dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid.

TOPICAL USE: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with Fractionated Coconut Oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.

CAUTIONS

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying product.
