STEP 5 - ESSENTIAL OILS FOR HEAD TENSION

HEAD TENSION!

Probably a finalist for the “Most Universal Daily Health Complaint” award.

Most adults are all too familiar with head tension, and some children too. It’s likely to have happened to almost everyone at some point in their lives.

But why are there so many types of head tension? And what exactly is it?

Most importantly, HOW CAN YOU GET RID OF IT?

HEAD TENSION is simply a persistent or continuous sensation of soreness located in the head. Left side, right side, front, or back, head tension can be a generalized dull discomfort, or a sharp, stabbing, or throbbing feeling in a specific area: above the eyes, behind the ears, in the upper back, or the neck.

Head tension can be the result of both primary and secondary causes. Secondary causes of head tension are related to other diseases and require specific medical attention. In this class, we will focus on PRIMARY head tension and its causes.

There are many types of head tension, and they can all manifest with a variety of symptoms. Some types of head tension may share the same symptoms; others may not. But they often have different underlying causes.

There are many natural remedies to support head tension, but Essential Oils are fast becoming a popular and effective method of support and can often work quickly. Essential Oils can work on the cause or trigger of head tension and, when used correctly, are safe, with no unwanted side effects.

Essential Oils that can be used to help with head tension include:
